Limitations:

There are lots of limitations in this experiment, as so many things can go wrong at any time. First off, finding all of the materials by itself was an extremely difficult task. Most of the materials were found on Amazon or in nearby stores, but the polymethylpentene film was imported from Japan (as the U.S. does not seem to have it), and the fertilized eggs were all donated by acquaintances (meaning that the amount of available eggs were extremely limited, unlike the poultry association’s experiment that had hundreds of usable eggs). The amount of available time was limited, as the capstone course does not last very long. The incubators used for the capstone experiment were not as big or high-tech, so the results might have been less accurate. The general timing of the experiment led to many problems concerning the well-being of the eggs, and there were many conditions that should not be broken when handling the eggs (for example, the breaking of the yolk in the egg was considered as instant failure). There were no professionals who knew the experiment from experience, so it was difficult to tell whether the steps were done correctly or not.
